A very healthy, crunchy and yummy sandwich for all the sandwich lovers...

Vegetable Grilled Sandwiches !!

Ingredients to make Vegetable Grilled Sandwiches !!

  • Whole wheat bread - 1 packet (16 slices)
  • Bell peppers (Red,green and yellow)- 1/2 each cut into thin slices
  • onion - 2 big finely chopped
  • tomato- 1 finely chopped
  • cabbage - 1 cup (cut into thin slices)
  • garlic - 3 cloves finely chopped
  • coriander leaves - 1 tbspn chopped
  • turmeric powder- 1/2 tspn
  • red chilly powder- 1/2 tspn
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
  • Tandoori mayo - 3 tbspn
  • salt to taste
  • oil- 1 tbspn
  • butter/ghee- 2 to 3 tbspn

How to make Vegetable Grilled Sandwiches !!

  1. Wash all the veggies...And chop them
  2. Heat a pan ....Put oil....And when hot add the chopped garlic and onion....and saute for a few minutes .... Then add the dry masala powders and salt Now add the chopped tomatoes....Mix well cook till soft....
  3. Now add the chopped vegetables and cook on high flame.... For 2 to 3 minutes....These should be a bit crunchy.... Do not over cook it....
  4. After it gets cooked turn off the gas and put coriander leaves
  5. Now take the bread slices....Apply little tandoori mayo on one slice ...
  6. Then put the cooked vegetable mixture on the slice....And cover it with another slice.
  7. Now heat a sandwich maker or grill pan...
  8. Apply butter or ghee on the slice and little on the pan or sandwich maker....
  9. Grill them till nice and brown....
  10. Serve hot with ketchup
