Ingredients to make Jawar Roti / Jonna Rotte

  • jowar flour - 3 cups
  • salt- as per taste
  • water - as required
  • oil - for frying
  • sugar - 1 spoon

How to make Jawar Roti / Jonna Rotte

  1. Take a jowar flour in to a big steel bowl.
  2. Add sugar and salt .Mix well.
  3. Boil water until bubbles formed init.
  4. Add hot water into the bowl and mix with spoon until the flour forms like a dough.
  5. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
  6. After that massage well and take little dough from it .
  7. Pat on a wet cloth or using dry flour as thin as possible.
  8. Heat the roti pan and add the prepared roti on it.
  9. Add 1 spoon oil and fry both sides well.
  10. Enjoy with spicy chutney and ghee or else with curd or any type of curry.

My Tip:

Dough should knead softly.
