Chicken Pasta Alfredo

Ingredients to make Chicken Pasta Alfredo

  • Pasta 200 gms
  • capsicum 1 big sized
  • Bell pepper (Red) 1/2
  • Bell pepper (Yellow) 1/2
  • spring onions 2 tablespoons
  • onions 1 big sized
  • chicken 200 gms
  • flour 30 gms
  • Milk 500 ml
  • garlic paste 1/2 tablespoon
  • salt as per taste
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper as per taste
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves (chopped) 1/2 bunch
  • butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Cheese 1/2 to 1 cup
  • Refined oil/olive oil as required

How to make Chicken Pasta Alfredo

  1. First, dice cut the onions, bell peppers, capsicum and chop the spring onions.
  2. Boil the chicken pieces and tear them into shreds.
  3. Boil the pasta with a little salt and keep aside.
  4. For the sauce: Heat butter in a pan and when it melts add flour and fry it. Next take the pan off the flame and add milk to it. Keep stirring the whole thing till it mixes uniformly. Next heat it up again and boil it adding a little black pepper and salt for taste.
  5. Take a frying pan and heat oil in it. Add the onions first, followed by capsicum, bell peppers, chicken, spring onion, garlic paste and a little salt. Toss them properly on a mild flame first, then on a high flame.
  6. When done add the fried vegetables and pasta in the white sauce and boil for a few minutes adding a little cheese (as per taste).
  7. Add salt and sugar according to taste.
  8. Turn off the gas and sprinkle some oregano and chopped coriander leaves on top.
  9. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Add the milk to the sauce at steps. Still if the flour becomes lumped put the whole thing in a grinder and give it a turn.
