Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients to make Chicken Alfredo Pasta

  • 500 gms fresh cream
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • 6 big mushrooms
  • 250 gms small cut boneless chicken
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper as per taste
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon oil

How to make Chicken Alfredo Pasta

  1. For the white sauce: In a non stick pan, add 2 tsp of butter. Once hot and melted, add the chopped garlic, fry well until you can smell the aroma and add chopped onions.
  2. Fry the onions until dark pink. Now add the fresh cream and let it cook for 3 minutes. Add some salt, pepper and herbs as per taste and preference.
  3. In a separate pan boil pasta, add a little salt and oil so it is not sticky. Once boiled, strain the water. In a pan fry the mushrooms.
  4. Marinate the chicken in ginger garlic paste, mixed herbs, salt and pepper for 5 minutes and cook with some oil.
  5. When you ready to eat ,mix the pasta, mushrooms and chicken in the white sauce.
  6. Serve with some garlic bread.

My Tip:

Do not over cook the pasta. Mix with the sauce before serving. If you feel the sauce is too thick, add 4 teaspoons of milk to the sauce and boil. You can additionally add cherry tomatoes and broccoli (boiled) to the pasta.
