Veggie cheesy twister

Ingredients to make Veggie cheesy twister

  • For dough: 200 gm plain flour
  • 50 gm olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Cold water as required
  • For stuffing:
  • 1/4 cup capsicum
  • 1/4 cup carrot
  • 1/4 cup beans
  • 1/4 cup corn
  • 2 tbsp pizza pasta sauce
  • Black pepper as per taste
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp chilly flakes
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

How to make Veggie cheesy twister

  1. Make a stiff dough and cover it for thirty minutes.
  2. For the stuffing: Take a pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, chopped onion, capsicum, carrot and beans. Add the corn and pizza pasta sauce, salt, black pepper, oregano, chilli flakes, dry basil, vinegar, garlic powder, tomato sauce and saute for 5 minutes. Let it cool and then add some cold mozzarella cheese.
  3. Make a thick chapati with the dough. Cut into strips apply some water. Wrap these strips on an aluminium cone and deep fry it. Separate the cones and fill with stuffing.
  4. Garnish with some mozzarella cheese and place in oven at 180 degree centigrade for 2-3 minutes or till the cheese melts. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Place the twister on wire rack in the standing position.
