Sambhar rice is good healthy breakfast. U can use left over rice

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup boiled split red gram
  2. 1 cup chopped bringal
  3. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  4. 1 tsp ginger garlic pest
  5. 1 tsp green chilli pest
  6. 2-3 big spoon oil
  7. 1 tsp mustard seed
  8. 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  9. 5-6 kari leaves
  10. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  11. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 4 tsp sambhar masala
  13. 2 cup boiled rice
  14. Salt as per test
  15. 3-4 cup water
  16. Corriender
  17. Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in cooker, add mustard seed and fenugreek seeds, than add Kari leaves and green chillies pest
  2. Now add ginger garlic pest, add onion and soate it for 2-3 min now add brinjal and add all required spices
  3. When brinjal become soft add boiled red gram (tuvar dal) and add require water
  4. After 5-6 min add boiled rice and let it cook for more 5 min.
  5. Garnish with chopped corriender and add lemon juice , Serve hot
