Subway Sandwich

Ingredients to make Subway Sandwich

  • Long buns/ french loaf/garlic bread 1
  • cucumber 1 small
  • tomato 1
  • onion 1
  • mushrooms 1 pack
  • Paneer/cottage cheese 100 gms
  • Fresh lettuce leaves 4
  • Black olives 6
  • Bell papers 1
  • Boiled corn kernels 4 tsp
  • Cheese slices 2
  • salt to taste
  • pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Mayonnaise 4 tsp
  • Thousnad island sauce 2 tsp
  • tomato sauce 2-3 tsp
  • coriander mint chutney 4 tsp
  • Oregano & chilli flakes 1 tsp
  • butter 2 tsp

How to make Subway Sandwich

  1. Prepare salad by chopping cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and bell papers and black olives.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Keep aside
  3. Wash & clean lettuce leaves.
  4. Clean mushrooms with wet cloth and saute it lightly in butter. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  5. Boil corn kernels in pressure cooker with salt.
  6. Grill paneer pieces on grill pan lightly. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  7. Now assemble the subway sandwich by slitting the loaf. Toast it on griddle lightly with butter.
  8. Now apply mayonnaise on one side of loaf. Apply coriander mint chutney on the other half.
  9. On top of mayonnaise apply tomato sauce. On green chutney side apply thousnad island sauce.
  10. Spread lettuce leaves on lower bottom of loaf. Spread all salad and vegetables one by one. Sprinkle oregano and some chilli flakes over it.
  11. Cut it into half and serve immediately.

My Tip:

You can replace paneer with chicken tikka pieces also
