Very interesting and yummy recipe enjoyed making first time got perfect flower bun bread... First I tried adding active dried yeast but I added in extra hot water yeast didn't bloom then I got disappointed.. Luckily 2 tbsp was left in a packet I did not give up again tried in Luke warm water got excellent result and got big smile ony my face. I tired on gas stove by keeping aluminum foil on a heavy base pan and tried in oven too.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour 11/4cup
  2. Dry flour 1/4 - 1/2cup
  3. Salt 1/4tsp
  4. Coriander Pickle 2 tablespoon
  5. Dry fenugreek leaves /kasuri methi 1 tablespoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Butter 1 tablespoon for kneading dough
  8. Milk 1/2cup or more for kneading dough
  9. Ingredients For yeast mixture-
  10. Instant dry yeast 2 tablespoon
  11. Lukewarm water 1/2cup
  12. sugar 1 tablespoon
  13. other ingredients -
  14. Oil 1 tablespoon for proofing
  15. Onion seeds/kalonji 1 teaspoon
  16. Butter 1 tablespoon for glazing

Instructions

  1. Method... Mix yeast and sugar in Luke warm water for 15 mins ..
  2. after 15 mins yeast will bloom to double
  3. Take a deep big bowl Add in flour and mix salt,make a well at the centre of the flour now add in kasuri methi coriander pickle, turmeric powder, 1 tbsp oil or butter..
  4. Now add in bloomed yeast Mix slowly and pour milk little at a time to make a smooth dough
  5. Pour 1 tbsp oil on top and bottom of dough cover with wet cloth and keep keep it for 2hrs minimum for fermentation in some hot place of your house
  6. After 2 hrs dough will become double in size Knock it down and add some dry flour to knead it again
  7. Now divide the dough into 8 equal parts and ,shape them into a round balls
  8. Keep them on a greased baking dish and apply some milk from top with the help of brush
  9. Spread some onion seeds/kalonji on top of each bun
  10. Cover and keep them again for 1 hrs for proofing in some hot area of your house.
  11. Preheat oven at 200 degree centigrade for 10 minutes.
  12. after 1 hour buns will become double in size.
  13. bake them in a Preheated oven at 190 degree centigrade for 14 minutes
  14. Open the oven after 14 minutes glaze all the buns from top with butter
  15. Repeat this method for 2 times after every 2 minutes of time gap.
  16. Your Coriander Pickle Masala flowers bread will become brown from top
  17. Coriander Pickle Masala flowers bread is now ready in 18 minutes,Baking time will differ according to the Oven we are using
  18. Serve them in breakfast with tea.
