Whole wheat healthy bhazi stuffed buns

Children favourite recipe.. I have used leftover Pavbhaji's bhaji for the buns stuffing

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 tbsp butter+2 tablespoon
  5. 2 tablespoon instant yeast
  6. 1 tablespoon sugar powder
  7. 1 cup Luke warm water
  8. 1/2cup Milk or as per required for kneading flour
  9. half cup dry flour for kneading dough
  10. 1 cup leftover bhaji

Instructions

  1. Take one cup Luke warm water add in sugar and yeast leave it covered for 10 minutes
  2. After 10 minutes yeast mixture will bloom to double
  3. take a deep bowl add in flour and salt and mix
  4. Make a well at the centre of flour add in oil and yeast mixture and milk to make a smooth dough
  5. Now add some butter and dry flour on the slab of kitchen and knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes
  6. Take a deep bowl spread 1 teaspoon oil keep ready dough over it pour 1 teaspoon oil over the dough
  7. cover and keep 1 to 2 hrs for fermentation under hot area of your house
  8. After 2 hrs dough will become double in size knock it down and again knead it
  9. Divide the dough into equal parts
  10. Roll them into a ball shape
  11. Roll each ball with help of rolling pin into a small disc
  12. keep bhaji stuffing at the centre gather all the ends and seal the stuffing.
  13. Line them on a greased baking tray
  14. Bash them with milk and let them rest for another 1 hr for proofing
  15. After 1 hrs bhaji buns will become double in size
  16. Grease bhaji buns with butter from top with the help of brush
  17. Bake them at 200 degree centigrade for 15 minutes
  18. Serve with tea or coffee in breakfast
