ABOUT Vegetable frittata RECIPE

Frittata is an egg-based Italian dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche or scrambled eggs, enriched with additional ingredients.i have made vegetables frittata with cheese here and it turned out very yummy and healthy breakfast dish too.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 eggs
  2. 2 tbsp milk
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  5. 1 tbsp oil
  6. 1 onion
  7. 3/4 cup chopped vegetables ( carrot,capsicum,baby corn)
  8. 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs,milk,salt and black pepper powder.
  2. In a pan,heat oil and add chopped onion.
  3. Saute till translucent and then add chopped vegetables.
  4. Add salt and saute them till little soft.
  5. Pour in the egg mix in the pan.
  6. Stir with a spatula briefly to combine and distribute the mixture evenly across the pan.  
  7. Spread the shredded cheese on top and cover and cook till the bottom is done and cheese melts.
  8. Garnish with coriander and serve hot in wedges.
