Spinach and Mushroom Frittata

Ingredients to make Spinach and Mushroom Frittata

  • 4Eggs
  • 1 Cup mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 Bowl spinach leaves
  • 1 onion sliced
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 Cheese cube grated
  • butter 2/3 tablespoons

How to make Spinach and Mushroom Frittata

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and saute the onions and mushrooms until they are cooked.
  2. Add the spinach leaves salt and pepper powder.
  3. Mix well and let it cook for a few minutes, turn off the gas and let it cool
  4. In a bowl whisk the eggs with salt,pepper and half the grated cheese.
  5. Add the cooked spinach and mushrooms to the eggs and mix well.
  6. In a cast iron pan add the remaining butter and pour the eggs mix. Spread it evenly and cover and cook until the eggs are 3/4 th done.
  7. Top the eggs with rest of the cheese and put the pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are cooked. Serve Hot

My Tip:

If using a normal non-stick pan with plastic handle, instead of using oven just flip the eggs over and cook till they are done.
