tamatar Ka Shorba

Ingredients to make tamatar Ka Shorba

  • half cup fresh coconut
  • 1 teaspoon besan
  • 6 tomatoes red chopped
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • half cup water
  • 1 tej patta
  • half teaspoon jeera
  • when green chilli into 4 length wise strips
  • half beetroot
  • half teaspoon sugar
  • half teaspoon lemon juice
  • one teaspoon ghee
  • salt to taste
  • garnish with coriander and mint leaves
  • half cup water

How to make tamatar Ka Shorba

  1. blend coconut with its own water in mixer to get coconut milk
  2. use more water to get more milk and strain it
  3. cook tomatoes and beetroot with water in pressure cooker
  4. after one whistle cool it and strain tomato juice
  5. heat ghee and jeera and curry leaves then green chillies tomato juice coconut milk sugar and salt
  6. add lemon juice
  7. garnish with coriander and mint leaves
