Carrot Muffin

Ingredients to make Carrot Muffin

  • maida 1cup
  • sugar 1/3cup
  • Grated carrot 1 cup
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • baking soda 1/4tsp
  • yogurt 3/4cup
  • Olive oil (melted butter) 2tbsp
  • Large egg 1
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp

How to make Carrot Muffin

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Line 6 cups of a standard muffin tin with paperliners, keep it aside. In a largebowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder,baking soda, and salt, keep it aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt, olive oil(butter), and egg. Add this mixture to dry ingredients, stir until just combined. Then add carrot and mix well.
  4. Add a spoon batter into prepared muffin cups. Bake muffins in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in center of one comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
