ABOUT Paneer Makahni RECIPE

A lovely Punjabi paneer dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 grms paneer
  2. 1 Shimla mirch green
  3. Ginger 10grms
  4. Garlic 6-7 kali
  5. 5 pices kaju
  6. 2 tbsp ghee
  7. 4 cloves
  8. 4 cardemon
  9. 2Bay leaves
  10. 1teaspoo Turmeric powder
  11. 1teaspoon kashmiri lal mirch
  12. Tomato purie
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Green chopped corriender

Instructions

  1. Cut the paneer in 1 inch cubes. Deep fry in hot oil slightly.
  2. In another pan heat the ghee and shallow fry ginger, garlic, cloves, cardamom, kaju and grind it well.
  3. Now heat the pan, pour oil add squared shape chopped shimla mirch then the bay leaves, and ginger garlic paste stir it till it start leaving oil, now add tomato puree and stir.
  4. Add half cup of water make it boil and add fried paneer in it.
  5. Decorate it with green corriender and serve hot

Paneer makhni has always been my favourite, can I see image also :)
