Paneer is a vegetarian's delight and is probably one of the most popular things, so make this version of paneer makhnani at home with this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. paneer - 1 cup
  2. Cream - 2 tbsp
  3. Salt
  4. Red chiili powder - 1 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Kasuri methi- 2 tbsp
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  8. Green chilli - 1
  9. Tomatoes - 2
  10. garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  11. Asafoetida - 1 pinch

Instructions

  1. Grind the tomatoes along with ginger garlic paste and green chilli, keep aside.
  2. Heat some oil and add asafoetida.
  3. Now add the tomato paste.
  4. Stir for few minutes and then add the kasuri methi.
  5. Now cube the paneer and sprinkle some orange color on them.
  6. Now add these colored paneer pieces to the cooking masala.
  7. Add cream and all the powdered spices along with salt.
  8. This is ready to be served.
  9. The final dish looks like this.
