Greek Salad

Ingredients to make Greek Salad

  • onion - 1 medium
  • tomato - 2 medium
  • cucumber - 1 small
  • Sliced pitted olives - 3 tbsp
  • Sliced Jalapenos - 2 tbsp
  • Crumbled cottage cheese - 2 - 3 tbsp
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Oregano - 2 tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Greek Salad

  1. Finely slice the onions
  2. Deseed the tomatoes and quarter them.
  3. Cut cucumber into cubes.
  4. Cut the jalapenos if the slices are too big. Use brine preserved jalapenos.
  5. In a bowl place the onions, tomatoes and cucumber. Add the olives and jalapenos. Add crumbled cottage cheese, salt and oregano. Drizzle olive oil and toss.

My Tip:

Use cottage cheese instead of Feta as it is more readily available everywhere.
