In winters we always search for something warm and tasty, therefore I have added lemon leaf, spinach, tomato and spring onion to give it thai style soup.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Spinach 1 bunch blanch
  2. Tomato 3 nos
  3. Lemon leaf 1 big size
  4. Butter 1 tablespoon
  5. Black pepper 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  8. Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon
  9. Corn flour 1 tablespoon
  10. Coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cup
  11. Mint leaves chopped 2 tablespoons
  12. Spring onions 1/2 cup chopped


  1. Wash and blanch the spinach then puree it
  2. In a pressure cooker put the tomato, salt to taste, spring onions, coriander leaves, pepper add 1/2 cup of water for 2 whistles, then cool down and strain it.
  3. In a wok heat butter then add chopped garlic fry till light brown colour then add corn flour and stir it, pour the tomato mixture and spinach puree and then cook it for 3 minutes then add milk and some seasoning to the soup and serve it hot.
