Cheesy Egg Plants

Ingredients to make Cheesy Egg Plants

  • egg plants. 3 no. Big oval shaped
  • tomato 4 to 5 big
  • Cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup
  • AMUL cheese shredded 1/2 cup.
  • Sour cream 1 tsp
  • Salt, pepper, chilli powder, sugar
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Kasoori methi 1 tsp ( roasted )
  • oil for shallow frying.

How to make Cheesy Egg Plants

  1. Cut eggplant in rounds and marinate with salt, turmeric and pepper , keep aside for half an hour.
  2. Blanch the tomatoes, make puree and cook with salt sugar ginger garlic paste and chilli powder. That's your tomato gravy.
  3. Shallow fry your egg plants with very little oil. Turn the other side and brown them.
  4. Now arrange the egg plants in a glass bowl. Spread tomato gravy. Spread kasoori methi.
  5. Now top with both the cheese and bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven.
  6. Your yummy and delicious egg plants are ready

My Tip:

Be careful while adding salt in marination as cheese contains salt.
