Orange Sweet

Ingredients to make Orange Sweet

  • 2 cup fresh orange pulp, seedless
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar (if oranges are sweet than take 1 cup)
  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 4 tbsp besan
  • 3 tbsp butter ya ghee
  • 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 4 tbsp dryfruits pieces
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp poppyseeds
  • 3 to 4 Pinch of orange food colour
  • 1 tbsp orange zest

How to make Orange Sweet

  1. First take a pan put butter and heat it. Add besan and roast it till light brown in colour. Keep aside.
  2. Take another pan, put orange pulp, keeping on a high flame add in all the sugar and stir it continuously.
  3. When the orange pulp becomes thick then add milk powder, fresh coconut and the roasted besan along with 2 tbsp of ghee.
  4. Add orange colour, orange zest and mix it all.
  5. Add cardamom powder, dryfruits pieces and mix well.
  6. When it becomes thick than put this mixture into a greased tray to cool.
  7. Once cool then make ladoo or cut into burfi pieces.

My Tip:

Remove all the seeds from the orange.
