ABOUT Carrot Raita RECIPE

Raitas are a perfect accompaniment to any meal. They can also be served as a side dish with any Indian bread or Biryani / pulao / jeera rice. So how about a carrot based raita this winter season? It is absolutely easy, simple and refreshing too. Go ahead and give it a try and relish with your favourite meal. Bon Appetit!!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup thick yoghurt
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. salt to taste
  4. 1 small carrot, grated
  5. 1-2 green chilies, chopped
  6. 1-2 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Whisk the yoghurt, water and salt. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  2. Serve as an accompaniment to your meal. It can also be served as a side dish with parathas.
