ABOUT Spinach, Bottle Gourd, Carrot and Cucumber Suji Idli RECIPE

Adding cucumber (kheera) and bottle gourd makes idli softer.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Suji 1 katori
  2. Curd 1 1/2 katori
  3. Spinach leaves cut small 1 katori
  4. Kheera 1 grated
  5. Ginger grated 1tsp
  6. Salt and pepper
  7. Oil for seasoning
  8. For seasoning. Mustard seeds, asafoetida, urad daal , curry patta, green chillies cut.
  9. Roasted sesame seeds. 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix suji, curd, spinach leaves carrot, bottle gourd and cucumber. Add grated ginger
  2. Add salt and pepper
  3. Add water and make batter
  4. Season it
  5. Grease idli moulds and tranfer batter in idli stand . Spread roasted sesame seeds on it
  6. Steam for 5 minutes
  7. Serve with fresh coconut chutney

in pic,it seems bigger than idli. may b some pic prob,no?
