Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bottle gourd peeled and cut in small pieces 1 cup
  2. Hang curd 1cup
  3. Mustard seeds 2-tsp
  4. Green chilli 1-2 crushed
  5. Salt to taste


  1. Peel and cut the bottle gourd in small pieces 1cm each remove the seeds if any
  2. To the cut pieces add 1cup water and 1/2 tsp salt .Boil for 5mins on medium flame till turn transparent.
  3. Take hung curd in bowl add crushed green chillies and crushed mustard seeds to it also add salt as per taste.
  4. Remove excess water from the boiled gourd add the pieces to curd mixture after cooling
  5. Put some oil and splutter mustard seeds as tadka for fresh flavour garnish with cilantro leaves
