ABOUT Bottle Gourd (Lauki) Raita RECIPE

Its a combination of grated lauki and curd.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 bowl grated lauki(bottle gourd)
  2. 4 bowl thick curd
  3. 1 tbsp oil
  4. 1 tbsp mustard
  5. Salt as per your taste
  6. Coriander leaf and 2 green chilli
  7. 1 tsp Sugar
  8. Roasted cumin powder 1 tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. Grate bottle gourd (Thin side grater)
  2. Boil it for 5 to 7 minutes(Boil it till it looks tender)
  3. Transfer it in a sieve .
  4. Squeeze properly so that water should not be left
  5. Let it cool for some time
  6. Churn curd .or blend.
  7. Heat oil and ad mustard.
  8. When it crackle put it in curd.
  9. After cooling down boiled lauki .
  10. Add it in curd .
  11. Mix properly.
  12. Ad sugar and salt
  13. Ad chopped coriander and chilly.
  14. Keep it in fridge.
  15. After an hour, decorate it with roasted cumin powder and red chilli powder.
  16. Lauki raita is ready.
