ABOUT Winter Delight RECIPE

Winter delight is one of my innovative recipe. In this recipe I have used dates, figs, Rosted fenugreek seed powder, Dry coconut powder and dry fruits. Dates and fenugreek are very healthy, specially in winter. Generally kids don't like methi ladoo in winter. And as we know fenugreek seed is very healthy food supplement in winter. so have mixed fenugreek seed powder with other ingredients. This is very healthy recipe and easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 3 Cup Date Pieces
  2. 1 Cup Figs
  3. 1/2 cup rosted fenugreek seed powder
  4. 1/2 cup finely chopped Almonds
  5. 1/2 cup finely chopped Cashews
  6. 1/2 Cup Dry Coconut Powder
  7. 1 and 1/2 Cup Desi Ghee
  8. 1 cup Dry coconut powder for garnishing

Instructions

  1. First of all remove seeds from date piece and chop finely.
  2. Also chop figs finely.
  3. After that chop almonds and cashews finely.
  4. Now heat the ghee in broad non-stick pan/Aluminium pan.
  5. After Ghee gets melted add finely chopped dates.
  6. Now stir continusly ghee and date on medium flame until it gets mixed.
  7. After stirring 10-15 minutes the dates gets melted. (Stir continuously so the mixture doesn't stick on the pan).
  8. Now add finely chopped fig (Anjir) in to it and stir continuously for 5-8 minutes.
  9. Now add dry coconut powder and mix it well.
  10. Add rosted fenugreek seed powder and mix it well.
  11. After that add finely chopped almonds and cashews and mix it properly.
  12. Stir the mixture for 5-10 minutes on middle flame.
  13. After that turn off the flame.
  14. Let the mixture cool down. (Keep it little hot so mixture gets into any shape easily)
  15. Now make medium balls from the mixture and dip the balls in Dry Coconut Powder.
  16. And sprinkle some dry coconut powder on to it.
  17. Let it cool down.
  18. Winter delight is ready to be Serve.
