ABOUT Fried methi muthia RECIPE

This is a traditional Gujurati cuisine. I can be prepared in both steaming and fried method. You can also shallow fry them by preparing them in ape pan.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gram flour-2 cups
  2. Fresh chopped methi leaves-2.5 cup
  3. Oil- 2 tsp
  4. Salt-1 tsp
  5. Sugar-2 tsp
  6. Ginger green chilli paste-2 tsp
  7. White sesame-2tsp
  8. Semolina-2tsp
  9. Curd-1 tsp
  10. Lemon juice-1 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  12. Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  13. Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
  14. Dhania powder-1/2 tsp
  15. Baking soda-1/4 tsp
  16. Oil for dip frying

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients (except oil for dip frying) with little water to make a dough, cover it keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Then make the you may like .
  3. Dip fry them in oil in low flame.
  4. Your methi muthias are now ready to serve .
  5. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any chutney you like.
