Ingredients to make Bread ButterPudding

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 slices wheat bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tblspoon Vanilla custard powder
  • 1 tspn Vanilla essence
  • 2 tblspn powdered sugar
  • 100 grams Amul butter/ Nutri butter
  • 1/2 cup soft golden raisins
  • 1/2 tspn nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tspn cinnamon powder
  • Herschys chocolate syrup
  • Cut dry fruits optional (almonds pistachio)
  • Thick cream to garnish

How to make Bread ButterPudding

  1. Beat eggs well
  2. Add milk to the eggs and mix well too
  3. Add vanilla essence
  4. To this mix add custard powder and beat the mix well so no lumps form
  5. Add the nutmeg and Cinnamon powder to the above mixture
  6. Add sugar powder too and mix well keep aside
  7. Now butter the bread slices
  8. Scatter the raisins on one buttered slice and close with the other
  9. Put the third slice on this closed sandwich with butter on both sides
  10. Brush a baking Tin with sum butter
  11. Preheat OTG on 180 degrees
  12. Pour eggs mix in the Tin carefully
  13. Slowly place the buttered bread in the center of the eggs mix dipping fully
  14. If not dipped just brush sum egg mix ontop too
  15. Place carefully in hot OTG
  16. Raise temperature to 200 degrees
  17. Bake for 35 minutes
  18. Check if the egg mix base is hard by poking with fork
  19. Bread toasts hard and crusty too
  20. Remove Cool for 5minutes and slide a knife to the sides of tin to loosen the pudding
  21. Remove and cut out triangles
  22. Enjoy as is ,or turn up side down garnish with chocolate syrup , thick cream and chopped dry fruits as shown in Picture

My Tip:

If making after a while keep egg mix in fridge to stand as flavours of the vanilla added etc remain Enjoy hot or cold as preferred
