Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. parboil green peas ..200 grams
  2. sugar... 200 gram(less or more as your choice)
  3. mixed dry fruit ...2 tablespoon
  4. milk... 100 grams
  5. Khoya... hundred grams
  6. cardamom powder... half teaspoon
  7. milk powder... 2 tablespoon
  8. chickpea powder or besan...2 tab.spoon
  9. Ghee... 3 tablespoon
  10. melon seed ...one teaspoon
  11. desiccated coconut ..2 tablespoon
  12. tender skin( rind)of peas..8 to 10(optional)

Instructions

  1. first of all roughly Crush parboil peas
  2. add one cup of water in sugar and keep it to boil
  3. cut the tender skin(rind) of Peas and Add it to the sugar syrup ,to boil
  4. now put the saucepan on the flame
  5. heat the ghee in it
  6. roast dry fruit in it
  7. now add besan and roast it for a minute
  8. now add crushed peas
  9. turn( saute)it for 5 to 8 minutes
  10. now add Khoya milk powder and desiccated coconut
  11. mix all the ingredients very properly
  12. now add sugar syrup
  13. when the mix get thick add now milk and cardamom powder
  14. now cover it and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes
  15. the hot green pea halwa is ready in this winter
  16. enjoy green peas halwa
