Ingredients to make Wheat flour cinnamon rolls

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • Refined flour 1 cup
  • Dry active yeast 1 tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • Cocoa powder 2tbsp
  • cinnamon powder 2 tsp
  • Powdered sugar 1 tbsp
  • Warm water 2 cups apprx.
  • olive oil 1/2cup
  • Some refined flour for dusting
  • Icing sugar 3 tbsp

How to make Wheat flour cinnamon rolls

  1. Take 1/4 cup Luke warm water add yeast and powdered sugar keep aside for 5 minutes
  2. In a bowl add wheat and refined flour ,oil 1 tbsp,salt,mix them
  3. Add yeast and rest of the water to knead a soft dough
  4. Take another bowl brush oil ,take little oil on hands lift the dough and apply oil on it then keep it in the bowl cover with wet cloth and let aside in warm place for about 45 minutes
  5. When the dough is double in size take out on flat surface and knead again for 5 minutes
  6. Role the dough 1/2 inch thick
  7. Apply some oil then spread sugar, cocoa,cinnamon evenly
  8. Role it so that there is no air in it
  9. With the help of thread cut it in small portions and place in greased baking tin, brush little oil on them and keep at some warm place for 20-25 minutes
  10. Pre heat oven at 180c
  11. Place baking dish in oven
  12. Pour some water over the lower rack
  13. Bake for 20 minutes
  14. Take icing sugar and add 1 tbsp water ,mix well
  15. When rolls are baked ,cool them little and brush icing sugar on the rolls

My Tip:

Take good quality yeast and to activate yeast water should be warm enough that you can put in your finger if water is too hot yeast will not activate
