Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chole 1 1/2 cup
  2. Onion 2
  3. Tomato 500 grams
  4. Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  5. Ginger 1 tbsp
  6. Chole masala 2 tsp
  7. Sugar 2 tsp
  8. Kasoori methi 2 tbsp
  9. Butter 3 tbsp
  10. Paneer 200 grams
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Chilli powder as per requirement
  13. Turmeric according to taste
  14. Fresh Cream 2 tbsp
  15. Oil 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook chole with salt.
  2. Cook the tomato in water and blend to get a puree.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add khada masala (cloves, cardamom and cinnamon).
  4. Add onion and saute. Add garlic, ginger and pureed tomato.
  5. Add in the chole masala and salt.
  6. Add sugar and saute for 15 minutes or till the gravy become thick.
  7. Add butter and saute chole and paneer.
  8. Add kasoori methi, fresh cream and serve.
