Veg fried rice (Restaurant style)

Ingredients to make Veg fried rice (Restaurant style)

  • garlic - 1 tbsp finely chopped
  • ginger - finely chopped
  • onion - 1 finely chopped
  • carrot - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Beans - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Green bell pepper - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Spring onions - 1 cup finely chopped
  • pepper powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Basmati rice - 200 gms
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 3 tbsp

How to make Veg fried rice (Restaurant style)

  1. Boil 6-7 tumbler of water and add 1 tbsp of oil to it. Add salt required for rice in water.
  2. Now add rice, cook for 6-7 minutes and then pour the cooked rice with water through a strainer. Keep it aside for later use.
  3. Heat a large pan and add oil to it.
  4. Add garlic and saute till you can smell the aroma.
  5. Add ginger and salt. Then add onions and saute it.
  6. Add in the mixed vegetables, pepper powder, soya sauce and mix well.
  7. Add cooked rice to it. Mix well and add the spring onions.
  8. Mix well and serve hot.

It was easy. I followed the above steps. But I fried the rice in low flame before boiling. And after following the above steps, I added a little vinegar to it along with soya sauce.
