Tricolor Trifle

Ingredients to make Tricolor Trifle

  • 1 litre whole milk
  • 4 Tblspn Fosters Vanilla custard powder
  • 200grams sugar
  • 1 packet thick cream ( 125ml)
  • 2 Pears medium soft
  • 2 mangoes

How to make Tricolor Trifle

  1. Boil milk well and cool it little
  2. Mix custard powder in one cup cold milk separately
  3. Now put milk on stove
  4. Add custard mix on slow stirring well so lumps do not form
  5. Cook this for ten minutes stirring
  6. Add sugar and mix well, Keep stirring for 5minutes to melt sugar well
  7. Pour in a transparent serving dish /bowl
  8. Cool in fridge for at least 2hours
  9. Chop long/juliene the pears and the mangoes
  10. Place on the custard once its cool and set
  11. Pipe out the thick cream on these as you like put back in fridge
  12. Serve cold

My Tip:

If serving at dinner ,prepare earlier and by afternoon keep custard to cool . Can add fruits half hour before serving.
