Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For fried rice 2 cup rice long grain
  2. 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  3. 2 tbsp olive oil
  4. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  5. 1 tbsp Vinegar
  6. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  7. 1/4 cup carrot finely chopped
  8. 1/2 cup beans finely chopped
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Ingredients for manchurian 1. 1/4 cup grated cabbage
  11. 1/2 cup grated carrot
  12. 1/2 cup grated capsicum
  13. 1/4 cup spring onion chopped
  14. 3 TBSP CORNFLOUR
  15. 3 tbsp maida
  16. 1/4 cup bread crumbs (optional)
  17. 1/2 tsp black pepper crushef
  18. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  19. Salt to taste
  20. Oil for frying
  21. Ingredients for manchurian sauce 1 1/2 tbsp oil
  22. 3/4 tbsp garlic chopped
  23. 1/2 tbsp ginger chopped
  24. 1/4 cup sping onion chopped
  25. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  26. 2 TBSP RED CHILLI SAUCE
  27. 1 tsp vinegar
  28. 3/4 tbsp cornflour
  29. 1/4 cup water to dissolve cornflour
  30. 1 cup water for gravy
  31. 1 tsp red chilly paste
  32. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. For veg fried rice Wash rice nicely and soak it for 2 hours.
  2. Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Drain water from the rice and add it to the boiling water.
  3. Pour 1 tsp oil in it this prevents rice from turning sticky.
  4. Drain off the rice to a colander, cool it.
  5. Heat a wok with oil on high flame add chopped garlic and saute till they get fried slightly.
  6. Put all the chopped veggies and fry for a minute or two.
  7. Now add vinegar, soya sauce, salt add rice and pepper powder, mix everything well and fry the vegetable fried rice for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish veg fried rice with fresh chopped spring onion (optional)
  9. Manchurian balls. Add veggies, cornflour, plain flour, ginger garlic paste, pepper, salt to a mixing bowl.
  10. Mix everything well, add bread crumbs(optional) to make the balls extra crisp.
  11. Fry these balls in hot oil on medium flame, keep stirring, fry until they turn golden.
  12. Drain the on a kitchen tissue.
  13. Manchurian sauce. Heat oil in a pan, then add ginger garlic and saute for a minute.
  14. Add spring onions, saute a minute on high flame.
  15. Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, red chilly paste.
  16. Dissolve cornflour in water, stir the cornflour, pour it to the pan.
  17. Next stir gently and pour water, stir and taste the mixture.
  18. Add vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar, the sauce should be sour, hot and sweet.
  19. Keep stirring and cook on medium flame until the sauce thickens. Switch off the gas. Allow the sauce to cool for 2 minutes.
  20. How to make veg manchurian Add the veg balls to the sauce just before serving. Garnish with spring onions.
  21. Serve veg manchurian with fried rice.
