The health benefits of Indian gooseberry, also known as Amla, can be partially attributed to its high vitamin C content. The Indian gooseberry helps in boosting the immune system, slowing down aging, treating throat infections, reducing blood sugar levels, and improving heart health.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Amla 500 gm
  2. Gud or jaggery 500 gm
  3. Roasted jeera 1 tbs
  4. Roasted ajwain 1 tbs
  5. Ginger powder 1 tbs
  6. Black paper 1 tsp
  7. Black salt 1 tsp
  8. Rock salt 1 tsp
  9. Asafoetida 1 tsp
  10. Aamchur powder 2 tbs
  11. Icing sugar 4 tbs.

Instructions

  1. Wash amla and cook in cooker without water for 2 to 3 whistle.
  2. Rest the cooker to cool. Remove the amla and remove seed. Grind in mixture and make fine paste. Don't add water.
  3. Take microwave proof bowl add Amla paste and jaggery and cook in micro oven at high power for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir the amla and jaggery mixture after ever 3 to 4 min.
  5. Grind roasted ajwain, roasted jeeta, ginger powder, Hing, rock salt, black salt, aamchur powder and black pepper. Make gatagat masala.
  6. Once the amla and jaggery mixture start turning thick add above Gatagat masala .
  7. Remove the pan. Bring the Amla mixture to room temperature.
  8. Make small balls and roll it into icing sugar.
  9. Store in airtight container. This Gatagat Gole can used as mouth freshener after lunch or dinner which will help to improve your health
