Chicken Palak Roll

Ingredients to make Chicken Palak Roll

  • palak 10 leaves
  • chicken 100 gm
  • ginger 1 inch
  • garlic 5-6 cloves
  • 1 medium size onion
  • curd 3 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Dhaniya powder 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • tomato sauce 2 tbsp
  • sesame seeds 2 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • cornflour 5 tsp
  • maida 5 tsp
  • haldi 1 tsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Chicken Palak Roll

  1. Rub salt on palak leaves and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut chicken into small pieces. Take a bowl and add chopped onion, chopped chicken, curd, garlic, ginger, salt, chili powder marinade and keep aside.
  3. Take a kadai add 3 tbsp oil, when heated, add the marinated chicken. Fry the chicken on medium flame with a closed lid until soft.
  4. Add soya sauce and tomato sauce. Fry it for a minute and remove from the flame. Now take palak leaves and wash it with plain water. Place the leaves in a tray and place 2 tbsp chicken in all the leaves. Slowly roll the leaves and repeat the same for all.
  5. Take a bowl, add cornflour, maida, sesame seeds, haldi and salt. Add water to it and make a thick batter. Take a kadai, heat oil for deep frying. Drop the rolls one by one in the batter and deep fry them till golden brown. Serve with ketchup.

My Tip:

Rub salt on palak leaves and keep aside for 30 minutes.
