ABOUT Homemade Health Mix... RECIPE

A super duper health mix for the entire family, this one is a permanent feature in my house. You can play around with the ingredients here adding your favourite dry fruits and nuts. You can use pure desi ghee or butter in it. Sometimes I even use jaggery in place of dates for a change. A healthy treat that is best served with a hot glass of milk every morning. Kids will love it's yummy taste. You can store this in the refrigerator for 2 - 3 months and use. Make it according to your family's need. So here's wishing you all good Health and happiness.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. almonds 2 cups
  2. cashewnuts 1 cup
  3. pistachios 1 cup
  4. walnut 1 cup
  5. Dry dates 1 cup
  6. ghee 2 tbsp


  1. Roast all the dry fruits in ghee on a low flame until done.
  2. Do not over do it. Roast only slightly until aromatic and a bit crisp.
  3. Let it cool before grinding. But grind it coarsely. Do not grind to a fine powder.
  4. Chop the dry dates as desired and mix in it.
  5. Store this in airtight containers and serve with a hot cup of milk everyday to your family for a healthy start of the day.
