Semolina chocolate cake is easy to prepare in pressure cooker. This cake is moist, scrumptious and delicious in taste.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Semolina/sooji/Rava - 1 cup
  2. Sugar Powder - 1/2 cup
  3. Condensed milk - 4 tsp
  4. Yogurt/Curd - 1 cup
  5. Butter - 1/2 cup
  6. Milk/water - 1 cup(adjust)
  7. Cocoa powder - 3 tsp
  8. Chocolate powder - 2 tsp
  9. Baking Powder - 3/4 tsp
  10. Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  11. VANILLA ESSENCE - 3 DROPS
  12. Dry fruits and tutti frutti - 1/2 cup
  13. For ganache
  14. Fresh Cream - 1/2 cup
  15. Cocoa powder - 2 tsp
  16. Condensed milk - 1/4 cup
  17. Butter - 2 tsp
  18. Others
  19. Salt - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Take a deep bowl add butter and powdered sugar. Beat it well with blender or spatulla
  2. Now add condensed milk to the above and beat it well till it becomes fluffy.
  3. Grind semolina to fine powder, Semolina must be very fine to get good cake texture.
  4. Now add semolina into sugar mixture and mix everything well.
  5. Add yogurt to the above and beat/mix everything well without any lumps.
  6. Now add cocoa powder, chocolate powder mix everything well.
  7. If you feel batter is very thick then add 1/2 cup of milk/water and mix well. Also add vanilla essence beat everything well.
  8. Rest the batter for 15 minutes by closing lid. Now take a pressure cooker add salt and preheat it on low flames for 10 min. Cut almonds, cashew nuts and keep tutti frutti ready. Take cake mould apply oil to bottom and sides.
  9. After 15 minutes, batter will be bit fluffy then add baking powder, baking soda and mixeverything well. If need add remaining milk/water and mix well.
  10. Add nuts and tutti frutti's to the above and mix it well. Now por the batter into mould.
  11. Keep stand in pressure cooker and place the mould carefully. Cook it on medium flames for 8 minutes and then cook on low flames for 30 minutes.
  12. Meanwhile prepare ganache. Take a pan add butter, fresh cream mix well. Then add cocoa powder, condensed milk mix well. Cook it on low flames till it becomes thick. once done let it cool completely outside or keep it in refrigerator.
  13. After 30 min check the cake by inserting tooth pick or knife. If batter cticks to it then cook 5 to 10 more minutes. Check again when batter stops sticking to tooth pick then take the mould out and cool it completely.
  14. Once cake is cool then scratch the edges with knife, place one plate on mould reverse it and tap on the mould. Demould the cake and reverse it carefully.
  15. Now take piping bag or any butter bag, add prepared ganache mix and decorate the chocolate as per your wish.
