Easy chocolate cake with digestive light biscuits. It is divine.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Digestive lite biscuits 400 gm
  2. Chopped nuts 1/2 cup
  3. For chocolate sauce : :
  4. sugar 1 cup
  5. Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  6. Water 1 cup
  7. Vanilla extract 1/2 tesp
  8. For chocolate ganache : :
  9. Full cream 1/2 cup
  10. Grated dark chocolate 1/2 cup


  1. Crush biscuits roughly.
  2. Roast chopped nuts ( almond and walnuts).
  3. Add roasted nuts to crushed biscuits.
  4. Mix all ingredients under chocolate sauce.
  5. Give a boil and then let it cook on low for 8 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly . Then mix chocolate sauce to biscuits mix. Toss well.
  7. Take a spring form mould and set the layer of biscuits mix in the mould evenly pressing with spatula.
  8. Set in the refrigerator for an hour.
  9. Mean while prepare chocolate ganache.
  10. Heat cream in a pan. When boil remove from the heat and add grated dark chocolate. Mix well till chocolate melts.
  11. Remove cake mould from refrigerator and pour the chocolate ganache over cake.
  12. Refrigerate again for 4 - 5 hours.
  13. Decorate with whipped cream or roasted nuts.
  14. Happy cooking!
