Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. roasted vermicelli-500gms
  2. for gravy:
  3. mutton-1/2kg
  4. whole garam masala
  5. ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
  6. curry masala powder-3tbsp
  7. greenchilli-2
  8. sliced onion-1cup
  9. cubed tomato-1cup
  10. water-1cup
  11. salt-as reqd
  12. oil-as reqd
  13. for garnishing:
  14. ghee-1tbsp
  15. cashews-10
  16. carrot chopped-1
  17. lemon juice-1/2

Instructions

  1. wash and drainthe mutton pieces
  2. in a pressure cooker add oil and whole garam masala
  3. then goes in sliced onion chilli
  4. when the onion turns golden brown add chopped tomatoes
  5. next add gingef garlic paste curry masala powder salt and mutton pieces
  6. let the mutton cook and releaseswater
  7. add 1cup water and pressure cook for 5 whistle
  8. when the mutto. cooked well add the roasted vermicelli and 1/2 litre water
  9. cook in high flame for 10mins then at low flamr for 5 mins
  10. then add lemon juice
  11. to the small pan add ghee and roast cashews and carrot
  12. add this to the cooked vermicelli biryani and finally garnish with coriander leaves
  13. serve hot and enjoy
