These channa paneer bullets are a delicious healthy snack for school going kids. It is rich in protein needed for growth of children.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Boiled chana 1 cup
  2. Grated paneer 1/2 cup
  3. Grated carrot 1/2 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Chat Masala powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Mint and Coriander leaves a handful
  7. Ginger green chilli paste 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Powdered Fried gram 1 cup
  9. Powdered bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  10. Cornflour 2 tablespoons
  11. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  12. oil for shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Grind the boiled white chana in blender without adding water into thick crumbly mixture
  2. Add in all the other ingredients except oil, cornflour and bread crumbs and mix to form dough.
  3. Make it into equal sized balls and shape it into cylindrical shaped bullet
  4. Add little water to cornflour to form a slightly thick paste
  5. Now dip the bullets in cornflour mixture and then into bread crumbs to coat it evenly
  6. Keep them in refrigerator for about 15 minutes to make them firm
  7. Add oil to pan ,place the bullets and shallow fry until golden brown on both sides
  8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
