This is so yummilicious recipe eith lots of vegetables and also loved by kids due to its shape and colour.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chopped carrots-3/4 cup
  2. Chopped beet roots-3/4 cup
  3. Green peas-1/4 cup
  4. Ground nuts-1/4 cup
  5. Medium to large potatoes -3
  6. Semolina-1/2 cup
  7. Chopped Large onion-1
  8. ginger garlic paste-3/4 tsp
  9. turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  10. salt as per taste
  11. coriander powder-1/2 tsp
  12. Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
  13. chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  14. Green chilli-2
  15. oil -2 tsp
  16. oil for dip frying
  17. cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  18. Corn flour - 3 tsp
  19. water -1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan and put oil in it and then add the cumin seeds in it.
  2. When they crackle then add the chopped onions in it.
  3. When the onions become translucent then add the green chili along with the ginger garlic paste.
  4. Saute it till the raw smell of of garlic has gone.
  5. Then add the chopped carrots and beet roots along with the green peas and ground nuts in it.
  6. Cover it for sometime.
  7. After cooking sometime then add mash potatoes in it along with salt and other powder spices in it and mix it well.
  8. Cook it for 5-7 minutes and then switch off the flame and keep it aside.
  9. Prepare the paste of cornflour and water.
  10. After cooling down of the mixture make star and moon shapes of it.
  11. Roll them in semolina.
  12. Then dip them in the cornflour paste.
  13. Heat oil in a kadai and dip fry the stars and moons in it.
  14. Now the star and moon chops are ready.
  15. Serve hot with ketchup or any type of chutney.
