ABOUT Old Fashioned Fruit Cobbler RECIPE

Old Fashioned Fruit Cobbler is made out of wheat flour, butter, milk, sugar, strawberries and an apple. This fruit cobbler can be served warm or room temperature topped with whipped cream or ice-cream or chocolate sauce or can have as it is.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Strawberries chopped1 cup
  2. Apple chopped 1 cup
  3. Wheat flour 250 grams
  4. Butter 1/2 cup
  5. Sugar 1/2 cup
  6. Milk 1/4 cup or as per required
  7. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  8. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Salt 1 teaspoon
  10. Sugar to sprinkle on chopped fruits 3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees celsius
  2. Place strawberries and apple with Sprinkled sugar into a greased pan.
  3. Combine dry ingredients with room temperature butter .Mix with fork or fingers until mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
  4. Add vanilla extract with little milk to the mixture. Work dough until smooth.
  5. Add little milk one teaspoon at a time if dough seems dry.
  6. Scoop the dough in large clumps on top of the fruit to form a nice cobbler crust.
  7. Bake 35 minutes or until juices are bubbly and crust is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm or room temperature topped with individual's taste. I served as it is.
  9. Yummy easy dessert for all ages , especially kid's love to eat more.
  10. Yummy healthy Old Fashioned Cobbler dessert loaded with fresh fruits is a perfect dessert for kid's .
