ABOUT Bhindi Masala RECIPE

Most loved north Indian Okra /Bhindi whole but saute in onion garlic ,add dry spices on ghe cut okra so they dont burn in oil.I do add some chopped tomato though its a choice.Love it with raitas and roti.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 150 gramsSmall even size fresh bhindi
  2. 1 onion cut long
  3. 1 tomato small chopped
  4. 1tspn cushed garlic
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/4 tspn turmeric
  7. Curry leaves
  8. 1tspn red chilli powder
  9. 1 /2tspn cummin corriander powder
  10. 1 1/2 tblspn oil
  11. Green chilii optional


  1. Wash dry slit cut Bhindi
  2. Add dry Masala all on to the cut Bhindi
  3. Chop onion long ,add 1 green chilli ,add to hot oil in a pan to saute
  4. Now add the bhindi
  5. Mix saute add chop tomato 2 minute then cover cool 5minute
  6. Let Masala cook 2 minutes ,it's done
