Pomegranate Raita is very soulful Raita which goes well with flavored rice like biryan

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Hung curd /yogurt - 1 cup
  2. Pomegranate seeds - 1/2 cup
  3. Onion - 1/2 cup
  4. Cucumber - 1/2
  5. Green chilli - 1
  6. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  7. Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Peppper powder - 1/4 tsp
  9. Coriander leaves - 1 tsp(chopped)
  10. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Finely chop onions, cucumber, remove pomegranate arils, finely chop coriander leaves and keep everything ready.
  2. Take hung curd in a bowl whisk it well, add salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, mix everything well.
  3. Now add finely chopped onions, cucumber, pomegranate seeds, coriander leaves, green chilli mix everything well. (keep few cucumber and pomegranate seeds aside for garnishing).
  4. After mixing everything well, keep it in refrigerator to chill.
  5. Healthy, tasty, chilled pomegranate Raita is ready, serve it with remaining veggies and pomegranate seeds.
