About Pomegranate beetroot raita Recipe

A very easy and quick to prepare raita with only few ingredients.This raita is very bright in colour. Its taste enhances when it is served chilled. It can become the finger licking delicacy when served at dinner. The taste of pomegranate beetroot raita is mild sweet. It can also be served with a salad and can be eaten with parathas. It can also be served as dessert or side dish along with the main course meal.

Pomegranate beetroot raita

Ingredients to make Pomegranate beetroot raita

  • Beetroot 1 small
  • Pomogranate seeds 1cup
  • curd 1cup
  • salt as per taste
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • Green chilli 2-3
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • curry leaves 1spring
  • oil 1tsp

How to make Pomegranate beetroot raita

  1. Boil one beetroot.
  2. Puree it with pomogranate seeds.
  3. Take curd and stir it continuously until it becomes little thick.
  4. Add 3-4tbsp of above prepared puree.
  5. Add 1tsp sugar, pinch of salt and mix.
  6. Heat a tadka pan, add 1tsp oil.
  7. When hot add mustard seeds, chilli and curry leaves.
  8. Pour this tadka over curd mixture and mix.
  9. Serve hot or cool as per your choice.

My Tip:

You can add more or less puree as per your taste.
