Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chana dal (250 gm)
  2. Valai poo (500 gm)
  3. onion 1
  4. ginger 1/2
  5. Fennel seed 1 tsp
  6. Green chilly 2
  7. curry leaves
  8. asafoetida 1 pinch
  9. oil
  10. salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the chana dal for 2 hours
  2. Picked the banana flower and chooped and immersed in a butter milk
  3. Chopped onion and ginger
  4. Grind the chana dal into semi fine paste
  5. Add salt, curry leaves ,and green chilly into grind
  6. Take a bowel add the grind chana chopped onion and ginger ,coriander leaves,fennel seeds and asafoetida
  7. Heat the kadai add oil for deep frying
  8. Make a vadai shape and deep fry it
