Suji Cheela

Ingredients to make Suji Cheela

  • Suji/ semolina 1 cup
  • Refined flour 1 tsp
  • yogurt 2 tbsp
  • water 1/4 cup (as required)
  • Chopped onions, tomatoes, capsicum 1 tbsp each
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder a pinch
  • chilli flakes to sprinkle
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, crushed
  • salt to taste

How to make Suji Cheela

  1. Mix all the ingredients together except the chilli flakes.
  2. Heat oil in non-stick skillet. Pour in around 3 tbsp batter and spread it out to make the cheela. Sprinkle chilli flakes on top.
  3. Heat both sides and serve it hot with sauce or chutney.

My Tip:

You can add boiled vegetables as per your taste.
