ABOUT Beetroot Jelly with Carrot Custard RECIPE

No artificial colour added in the jelly of this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 beet root
  2. 2 carrots
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 4 tbsp custard powder
  5. 2-4 tbsp raspberry essence
  6. 1 cup milk
  7. 1 tbsp gelatin
  8. 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Grate the carrot, then boil it with the milk for 10 mins.
  2. Then add the custard powder mixed with some milk in it. Next add sugar and stir well. Keep this in the fridge.
  3. Grind the beet root with water, then strain and bring it to a boil. Then add the gelatin that's mixed with water along with sugar and essence.
  4. Pour this mixture into shot glasses and keep it in the fridge to set. (Arrange it in shot glasses as seen in the picture and serve it chilled.)
