Avocado Ada Pradhaman

Ingredients to make Avocado Ada Pradhaman

  • Readmade Ada 1/3 cup
  • avocado Ripened 2
  • sugar 1/2 Cup
  • Cashew and almonds 1 tbsp
  • Milk 2 cups
  • water 3 cups
  • cardamom 1/2 tsp

How to make Avocado Ada Pradhaman

  1. Wash the readymade ada. Then boil the water and soak the ada for 15 minutes. Cover it with a lid.
  2. Cut the avocados into halves, then twist and take out the pulp. Blend the avocado, milk and saffron in a mixer and make it of a liquid consistency.
  3. Transfer the pulp to a cooking pan and add water. (In parallel, by this time the ada would have cooked in the water.)
  4. Mix the avocado pulp and the ada, let it cook in a low flame. Continue stirring or the ada will get burnt.
  5. When it starts to bubble, add sugar and keep stirring at regular intervals of 1-2 mins. Once it starts to boil add the cardamom.
  6. Let it boil nicely for another 5-8 minutes. (The ada would be cooked by this time.)
  7. Take a small frying pan and add the ghee. Once the ghee is melted, add the cashews and almonds. Let it fry and turn into a golden brown colour.
  8. Pour this garnish on top of the avocado ada pradhaman.
