Nandu Milagu Varuval (Crab Pepper Fry)

Ingredients to make Nandu Milagu Varuval (Crab Pepper Fry)

  • Crab cleaned 1/2 kg
  • shallots 1 cup
  • Tomoto 1 big
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • salt as required
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 2 tsp
  • pepper powder 2 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • water as required
  • Green chilli 1
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • curry leaves a few

How to make Nandu Milagu Varuval (Crab Pepper Fry)

  1. Heat a pan, add oil, shallots, curry leaves, green chilli, ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Add tomato, a pinch of salt and cook until it is soft.
  3. Add your 1/2 kg cleaned crab in it.
  4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and garam masala one by one.
  5. Add salt as required
  6. Add required water and close the lid until it cooks
  7. Serve hot with rice

My Tip:

If you want less spiciness, add coconut milk.
