Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. All purpose flour 100 gms
  2. Grated coconut 1 cup
  3. Sugar 1 tbsp + 1 tsp
  4. Ghee 2 tsp
  5. Refined oil for shallow frying
  6. Chopped nuts of your choice 1 tbsp
  7. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Pinch of salt
  9. Pinch of Baking Soda
  10. Water for making the batter


  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated coconut.
  2. Mix well and continue to cook in low flame until the coconut turns light brown and ghee starts to separate.
  3. Add 1 tbsp sugar and cardamom powder, chopped nuts and mix well. Cook for a couple of minutes and turn off the stove.
  4. Now prepare the batter. To the all purpose flour add 1 tsp sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix well avoid forming lumps. Add water until it reaches dosa consistency.
  5. On a griddle heat a little oil and spread the batter like a pancake/ dosa
  6. Spread the coconut mix over it and fold from both sides.
  7. Turn the sides and cook on low flame. Serve hot.
